Not every story needs a wide view. 

Some of my favourite moments are found by slowing down and looking closer: a single mushroom glowing in a patch of sunlit moss, bracket fungi layered on an old trunk, or a Highland cow watching me from the tall grass.

Nature photography is about patience and paying attention to the small things, the textures, colours and characters that are easy to walk past.
